Investing in Yourself
I get it - therapy is both a financial and a time commitment. You want to make sure it’s a good investment.
The good news is that you’re investing in something incredibly valuable – yourself. You’re investing in your growth, your confidence in setting limits, and your ability to create peace in your life.
It is very important that you feel the commitment is worth it. This is one of the reasons we do a consultation up-front, to make sure we would be a good fit. I also want you to feel valued at all times during therapy, and I want you to experience the progress and changes you are hoping for.
Some of the added benefits you get when working with me are:
Online therapy, from the comfort of your home, via a secure and user-friendly platform.
24/7 access to my client portal, where you can schedule/reschedule appointments, download resources, and fill out forms electronically.
Appointment reminders by email and/or text.
Assessments to track your progress.
Coordination of care with other health/wellness providers.

At this time, I do not have a sliding scale or pro bono services. If you are seeking this type of care, I highly recommend:

Insurance
In-Network
I am an in-network provider with CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield; If you have insurance with this carrier, you will receive the benefit of in-network rates. This is the only insurance carrier for whom I am an in-network provider.
Prior to your first session, please contact CareFirst and ask the following questions?
What is my co-pay for mental health sessions?
Do I need to meet a deductible first?
Do I need pre-authorization for my sessions?
Out-of-Network
I am an out-of-network provider for all other insurance carriers.
I can provide you with a monthly “superbill” that you could submit to your insurance as part of an out-of-network claim. You would need to contact your insurance carrier to determine whether they will cover a portion of my fees (see below).
Questions to ask your Insurance Carrier about Out-of-Network Benfits
Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health?
Do I need to meet a deductible first?
What percentage of the session will my insurance cover?
